“Youth, Identity and Culture: Learning for Democracy and Nation Building”CANRAD had the opportunity of facilitating a conversation between various NMMU students and Dr Allan Boesak a politician, author and anti-apartheid activist. Many questions were posed, relating to our diverse culture and the development of our youth. Dr Boesak emphasised that our Universities exist for the development of our students and therefore need to make them their number one priority.“We not only need to prepare our students nationally but need to prepare them to be competitive globally” said Dr Allan Boesak
