CANRAD partnered the South-End Museum and the Paterson High School to pay tribute to the late Professor Dennis Vincent Brutus. Professor Brutus attended the Paterson High School, where he began writing poetry and edited the student newspaper, The Patersonian Spectator. Professor Brutus completed a BA degree after winning a bursary to Fort Hare College. His degree opened the way for his long teaching career, beginning at the St. Thomas Aquinas High School, in Port Elizabeth, and returning to Paterson High.
