Join CANRAD and the Chair for Critical Studies in Higher Education Transformation (CriSHET) for a seminar, "The importance of affirmative actions for black students in Brazil as a strategy against mental illness" presented by Prof Breiten Tavares (University of Brasília) on 5 August 2022.

Prof Tavares will be joined by panellists, Pontsho Hlongwane (SRC President) and Lesego Nkosi (CANRAD Intern).

This seminar is an in-person event at Nelson Mandela University's Bird Street Campus in Gqerbeha, South Africa. All attendees are invited to join us for lunch after the seminar at no extra cost.

Transport can be arranged from North Campus to Bird Street Campus.
