Katlego Mofokeng is a writer, radio presenter, and ardent student advocate currently pursuing a BA in Law, after graduating with a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Johannesburg. Her journey is shaped by a deep love for current affairs and a conviction that storytelling, scholarship, and activism are tools for justice.
Rooted in the belief that ideas must live not only in theory but in the pulse of everyday struggle, Katlego’s work bridges the intellectual and the political. Her contributions to CANRAD are animated by a commitment to creating spaces where student voices are not only heard but shape the futures they imagine.
In the spirit of Frantz Fanon’s enduring call — “Each generation must, out of relative obscurity, discover its mission, fulfil it, or betray it” — Katlego seeks to help this generation fulfil its mission: to question, to build, and to remember.
