Nhlakanipho Mahlangu is a Research Intern at CANRAD and an M.Com. candidate at Nelson Mandela University. She has vast experience in student governance as a student leader, and served as Rhodes University’s Student Representative Council president in 2018. Nhlakanipho worked as a Leader at the Allan Gray Centre for Leadership and Ethics (AGCLE), where she facilitated lectures on ethics. As a scholar, her keen interest is the study of LGBTI inclusivity in marketing and communication strategies. She is co-founder of a docu-series, “Remember My Voice - a queer memory box”, which seeks to create a digital archive of the lives of LGBTI individuals.
